Now it seems like for the average person, there are so many negative influences in the world. So many forces that are pushing against us and so few positives. At least, we feel that way. How do we balance the negatives and the positives that occur in our lives every day?

If we truly want balance, we have to look for the positives. The newscast and newspapers are very negative every day, all the things that we hear are negative and we are being bombarded constantly with 80% negative. The people around the water cooler are talking negative and theyre picking other people apart. They dont mean to do it; its just the way that society is today. With that much negative we must look for and find any positive that we can. It may still not be enough but that is why we need to search for the as much positive as we can get. Start looking for the positive everyday. Turn the 80% negative to 80% positive input.

Changing your perception is one way to do it. You already have the negative firing at you from all angles, so look for the positive at every turn. Train your brain to perceive the positive things in your life. Now, that sort of sounds Pollyanna but when you start doing it and get in the habit of doing it, it really works.
