Many people believe that the politicians work for the corporations and not the people. Yet the Corporations work for the people in that they bring us everything we buy and desire. If they can make a profit in providing it to us then it is almost as if; Your desire is our command mantra with corporate America.

Recently we see with the lobbyists scandals in Washington DC that big bucks mean you can buy your government into seeing things your way. Some want to hold politicians accountable by giving the power back to the people and thus if the politicians mess up they are out of their. So in essence they want to use FEAR (fear of loss) to control the politicians? I suppose Fear is the easiest motivator, but indeed it will insight a fight or flight. Thus good people will not run and flight, because they are worried about being condemned for voting their minds, even when your online political site's winds are blowing the wrong way short term for the better long term track the country must be on?

You see many citizens are dissolutioned with politics and Washington DC and they want to wake up the politicians to remember who put them there in the first place. Yet it appears that they are awake, they have just come to a point not to care. The good ones are lambasted in the media and say the hell with it and the bad ones really do not care, as they got theirs and screw you (us) as we are only going to find a way to attack them no matter what decisions they make (good for the people or not). Perhaps this is another point of view to consider in 2006.
