You may not have ever given it any thought, but once you hit a certain age, almost everyone you start dating will have a kid or two. Dating a single mom once seemed like a terrible idea, but today it is really a normal part of dating. It is rare to find someone that carries no baggage whatsoever. First, you really will not only become attached to her, but will likely also become attached to her child, if you do get more committed. This is something to really think about. If you know you are not ready for a commitment, you should probably not even think about going on a date with a mother. Although this is not always the case, most single mothers are looking for a commitment of some sort. They may not be looking for a husband, but they cant possibly date too many people in fear of confusing their child.

Another thing to think about is the maturity level of a single mother. A single mother goes through an incredible amount of stress each day, just trying to get things done and raising her child. If you are looking for a real woman who knows how to take care of herself and her family, a single mother is the way to go!
