Natural Arthritis Pain Relief

Author: Paul Newland

There's no doubt that the number one problem for arthritis sufferers is pain relief. Imagine if there was a natural arthritis pain relief treatment that could work more effectively than any drug and at the same time started repairing the joint and improving your mobility.

Inflammation is part of the body's natural response to injury and infection and results in pain, swelling and redness. If the problem isn't treated effectively, it will get worse as the cartilage and the protective joint capsule becomes more eroded.

CM, a Name to Remember.

CM stands for Cetyl Myristoleate and is made from a form of fatty acid found naturally in living plant and animal tissue. It is a precursor to the prostaglandin hormones - the hormones that regulate a number of body functions such as pain relief, inflammation and so on. It functions like essential fatty aids in providing pain relief, and acts as an anti-inflammatory.

As an essential fatty acid it is also involved in the maintenance and production of synovial fluid. It is also involved in the body's natural pain relief process by helping to produce pain relief and anti-inflammatory hormones called prostaglandins.

CM contains sulfur - essential for human nutrition - and also necessary for making collagen, cartilage, connective tissue as well as hair and nails. It can be taken in capsule form or as a cream which is rubbed in to the affected area. It is fast acting and penetrates the joint very quickly; in many cases we are familiar with, people report a significant reduction in pain in less than half an hour.

Another feature is that it allows muscles and connective tissue of the joints to move more freely over one another and in this way improves joint mobility.

In a double-blind scientific study of osteoarthritis patients, CM resulted in:

" Significant pain relief and reduction in inflammation

" Improvements in range of motion and capability

What this means for you is that you now have a credible, fast acting, natural alternative form of arthritis pain relief with no side-effects (unlike some other well-known pharmaceuticals such as Celebrex and Vioxx, which among other things have been shown to increase your risk of heart attack, stroke and cancer!

In addition to CM, in order to specifically deal with the cartilage reconstruction, protect the joint and provide arthritis pain relief, you also need to make sure that you are taking in the essential nutrients for the cartilage and the fluid in the joint capsule including all 90 essential nutrients and additional supplements containing glucosamine and chondroitin at a higher dose (consult your health care physician about this).

The benefits of glucosamine and chondroitin have already been extensively studied (to read an article from the Journal of the American Medical association, click here.
