Why Let Fat Government Regulators Enforce Diet Supplements?

Author: Lance Winslow

Government Regulators often attack vitamin supplements and file lawsuits stating that they do not work? But never once have we ever heard of a government regulator trying the diet supplements to see if they actually work. Why do government regulators attack vitamin supplements? Well, it is obvious, because Senators and Congressmen tell them too, because all the Washington D.C. Politicians are in bed, sometimes literally with the Pharmaceutical Industry and their lobbyists. Now that does not sound very fair to me, how about you?

What is even more appalling is the fact that most vitamin supplements are sold by small businesses and that just fries the Super Corporation pharmaceutical companies. What is even more amazing is that these same agencies, which cannot even balance their budgets and really need a diet of their own file bogus complaints in courts. The average cost to fight a claim from even a small agency like the Federal Trade Commission will cost a company $50,000 in retainer fees and could easily cost $250,000 even to simply settle out of court. The Federal Trade Commission never, well only once, admits when they made a mistake, lied in court filings or were wrong in a complaint.

The vitamin supplement business is under constant attack from the FTC and one has to wonder why. Does the government want us all fat like them? So we will get diabetes and then have to buy drugs from the drug companies? Meanwhile the drug companies sell doctor prescribed dietary supplements for 10 times the costs? We need some answers and we need them now. If the Federal Government maintains these agencies which thwart justice and attack small businesses, then why do we need an agency like the FTC in the first place. I would like some answers, not double talk and I believe America is over do for the Truth, some justice as that is the American Way. Think on this and question authority.
